The College of Dentistry participates in the Emerging Scholars Program (ESP) to provide research opportunities for UF undergraduate freshmen or sophomores who have no previous university-level research experience.

The College of Dentistry is committed to providing opportunities for students to engage in Jumpstart your dental school journey with the Summer Research Program (SRP).

The DMD Research Mentor Program was created to allow a greater proportion of our DMD students to benefit during their DMD training from the robust research expertise and scholarly activity in our college.

The UF DMD/PhD program blends rigorous dental training with world‑class basic science research, enabling students to become clinician‑scientists equipped to tackle oral health challenges.

The Research Conference Travel Award is granted exclusively to UFCD dental students, providing up to $2,000 per recipient to cover conference travel costs.

UF Research Honors awards recognize senior dental students’ research contributions during the DMD program
