NOTICE: The UF Center for Undergraduate Research (CUR) has transitioned to having online peer advising and will be scheduling all appointments through this link.
Programs and Opportunities
The University of Florida College of Dentistry (UFCD) has several UF undergraduates engaged in cutting-edge research. Students interested in these opportunities should review the College of Dentistry Faculty Research Interests page to identify the labs of interest, and to contact the faculty member directly for opportunities available.
Please note: there are more students than mentors at UFCD. Many of the labs may be full. Look for research opportunities well in advance, at least a full semester or two ahead of the expected time. Students are also encouraged to include their major, long term interests and any relevant research experience when contacting faculty. There are many excellent opportunities for research at UF. A good research experience will help with admissions, even if it is not done at UFCD.
University Scholars Program
This program introduces undergraduate students at UF to the exciting world of academic research. In the program, students work one-on-one with UF faculty on selected research projects. Any questions or concerns: please contact the Office of Research at 352-294-5440.

Center for Undergraduate Research (CUR) Board of Students
Committed to fostering a culture of research that encourages all students to include a research component as a critical part of their undergraduate experience, the CUR provides guidance to students and faculty interested in pursuing research opportunities, and the coordination of campus research activities. The CUR also works to expand research opportunities across campus.

SF2UF Bridges Program
The SF2UF Bridge to the Baccalaureate Program is a partnership between Santa Fe College and the University of Florida. This program is intended to support students who want to go on to graduate school (as opposed to those who want to go on to professional school).
