Research for UF Undergraduates
The University of Florida College of Dentistry (UFCD) has several UF undergraduates engaged in cutting-edge research. Students interested in these opportunities should review the following: College of Dentistry Faculty Research Interests to identify the labs of interest, and to contact the faculty member directly, for opportunities available.
Please note: there are more students than mentors at UFCD. Many of the labs may be full. Look for research opportunities well in advance, at least a full semester or two ahead of the expected time. Students are also encouraged to include their major, long term interests and any relevant research experience when contacting faculty. There are many excellent opportunities for research at UF. A good research experience helps with admissions, even if it is not done at UFCD.
University Scholars Program
Center for Undergraduate Research Board of Students
The Center for Undergraduate Research (CUR) is committed to fostering a culture of research that encourages all students to include a research component as a critical part of their undergraduate experience. The CUR provides guidance to students and faculty interested in pursuing research opportunities, and the coordination of campus research activities. The CUR also works to expand research opportunities across campus. Explore the website and contact us if you would like additional information.
