In light of UF’s guidance surrounding COVID-19 (Coronavirus disease), we have modified our annual Spring Synergy event in the following ways to best protect our college and community:
- All scheduled events related to the Kaplan lecture are postponed until further notice.
- The keynote presentation, research poster session and oral presentations are postponed; we are working to determine the best alterative times and venues for these aspects of Spring Synergy and will update the college as soon as we can.
- We will move forward with judging of the posters and will bestow awards on the top posters based on the scientific merit of the abstracts – as was done last year. Award recipients will be announced at the end of March.
We regret any inconvenience this may cause but we hope that everyone understands the need to move forward as a team, making decisions thoughtfully and responsibility as we focus on our core missions of education, patient care and research.
