Tuition and Stipends

Once accepted into the joint degreed program or at any point during the first 3 years of the DMD program, the student receives a stipend (currently $23,376 per year), a waiver of DMD in-state block tuition and is eligible for health insurance coverage. Entering students not classified as Florida Residents receive a wavier for out-of-state tuition for the first year of the program, and expected to apply for Florida residency as soon as eligible (currently after 1 year of residency). Once the student begins the Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences in the fall of their fourth year, the College waives the DMD tuition and tuition for the Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences is fully funded. Furthermore, as a student in the Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences, joint degree students are entitled a graduate research assistantship stipend (currently $28,627) and health insurance.
